Reimagining DIAS’ digital presence

For an institution like DIAS (Interbanking Systems S.A.), which plays a central role in Greece’s payments infrastructure, a digital presence is far more than a visual interface; it is a benchmark of reliability and a vehicle for financial evolution. At Significa, we partnered with DIAS to deliver a comprehensive digital refresh that aligns with its strategic direction and supports the growing IRIS ecosystem.

The primary challenge was to balance DIAS’ institutional character with the demands of the dynamic, fast-evolving nature of modern payment services. The platform needed to host multiple layers of complex information while remaining intuitive for diverse audiences—from individual consumers to large-scale enterprises.

Through a series of custom wireframing sessions and strategic workshops, we redesigned the information architecture to establish a clear and scalable structure. By utilizing advanced anchoring and full-width content structures, we organized the information into a dynamic hierarchy, ensuring that depth never compromises clarity.

In mission-critical environments, technical excellence is defined by the stability of the transition. Our engineering team implemented a specialized coexistence architecture to bridge the gap between legacy infrastructure and redesigned templates.

Rather than a generic rollout, we followed a rigorous methodology of CSS isolation per template, complemented by controlled class reuse through conflict checks. This strategic isolation ensured that new design elements operated independently, leaving the original core systems unaffected. This technical foundation enabled a zero-time rollback capability—a vital safety net that guaranteed absolute operational continuity at every stage of the project.

As IRIS (P2P, P2Pro, Commerce) continues to expand, the platform was redesigned to better support its visibility and usability.
We introduced clear interaction flows and structured user journeys that help users easily understand and navigate the services. The focus was on simplicity, speed and clarity - reflecting the core value of instant payments in the digital experience itself. 

Empowering the DIAS team to manage their content with agility was a core requirement. Leveraging the capabilities of Umbraco, we delivered a modular system that allows for the dynamic composition of new pages. Using secure, predefined components, content editors can now deploy updates and campaign-specific landing pages rapidly, ensuring the platform evolves in lockstep with the brand’s technical standards.
