Our objective was to understand the user through in-depth UX research, and we therefore undertook insightful stakeholder interviews. This groundwork allowed us to identify target audiences and design a thoughtful Information Architecture (IA) shifting our focus from purely business goals to a more user-centric approach. We meticulously identified and categorized our target audiences, creating a clear hierarchy of information that guides users effortlessly.
Our enhancements focused on:
- Breaking down content into digestible chunks, making it easy to scan and highlight key points.
- Neatly categorized products, allowing users to compare options in just two clicks.
- Bringing calculators directly onto relevant product pages, ensuring easy access where it’s needed most.
- New user-friendly menu features direct action buttons for quick navigation, making it a breeze for users to find exactly what they’re looking for.
Improving forms and wizards. The new forms guide users through the process in clear and concise steps. They provide all the information required to complete the process quickly, whilst also allowing users to make informed decisions along the way.
By addressing the unique needs of different target audiences, we ensured that every page is a helpful guide, allowing users to navigate intuitively and discover the information they seek. Strategic interlinking directs users to related content, enhancing their overall journey.
This refreshed user experience not only adds functionality but also revitalizes the bank's visual identity. The new website has received a warm welcome, driving higher engagement, lowering bounce rates, and increasing online sales all while cutting operational costs.
